Corporate Leadership
Ed DeHoog, PhD
Principal Optical Engineer & Founder
As principal optical engineer and founder, Ed has extensive experience in the optics and optical engineering industry. He has worked in optical design engineering since 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Laser Optical Engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology, a Masters of Science in Applied Physics with an emphasis in Optical Physics from Oregon State University, as well as a Doctorate in Biomedical Engineering with an emphasis in Optical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
He has published several scientific papers in the field of optics and optical engineering and is active with the Member of Optical Society of America (OSA) and the Member of Society of Photo-optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE).
As an organization, OEA is an expert in the field of optical design and analysis. We are equipped and proficient with ZEMAX and FRED optical engineering software in order to provide you with a streamlined optical design process.
